The sun finally shines, and the warm weather is here to stay. I love spring time. Avery gave me this beautiful flower and it's a dandy! Isn't it cute when kids pick dandelions and so fondly give them to mom.

I love this tree in our backyard. Just last week, it had no leaves & soon it will be so full and lush.
I love to see the grass, flowers, trees in "springtime" action.

Ha! Ha! "It's a dandy!" So clever! Brooklyn gave me one a day ago...it was so cute! Then on our walk to the park today she was counting all the "flowers"! I wanted to say "they're WEEDS" but I couldn't do it!

At least Avery picks flowers from your own yard, Liv brings in flowers from the neighbors yard, and tells me "mom, i'd pick you some flowers from our yard, but we don't have any pretty ones." Yeah, Martha Stewart doesn't live here...

Okay I just got it! (thanks Mia) DEAR AVERY: Actually I was picking dandies myself today, and yesterday and I'm not done yet! I've sprayed and pulled until my shoulders are sore and it's all to get the old lawn ready for ALL YOU ANDERSONS to visit Gigi and Papa this coming Saturday. (yea!) (yea!)
